Infant Teacher – Discovery Point Silverthorn
Discovery Point Silverthorn is seeking a caring, dependable Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is nurturing, attentive, and passionate about supporting the growth and development of infants in a safe and loving environment.
Responsibilities- Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom for infants
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with Florida standards
- Follow daily routines for feeding, diapering, and naps
- Maintain proper supervision and classroom ratios at all times
- Complete daily reports and communicate effectively with families
- Follow all Florida DCF licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with management and teaching staff
- Must meet Florida DCF childcare staff requirements
- 45-hour DCF training (Infant & Toddler preferred) or willingness to complete
- DCF Level 2 background screening (or ability to obtain)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Prior infant classroom experience preferred
- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
