Job Description Summary
Will handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic. The job of Patient Services Specialist (PSS) is divided into stations. Each station has a distinct set of duties, and every PSS employee is expected to assist co‑workers in performing all front‑office duties.
The employee must learn and perform all duties of all front‑office stations. The person assigned to a named station may not perform every listed duty; strong copywriting and editing skills are essential. The role requires attention to detail, organization, flexibility, and the ability to meet time‑sensitive priorities. The employee will also perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Education and CredentialsHigh School Diploma or GED required.
Previous Experience- Experience in a healthcare field highly preferred.
- Attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analysis & Critical Thinking: problem solving, analysis, decision‑making, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness: emotional intelligence, diplomacy, conflict management, delegation, and diversity awareness.

- Customer Service & Organizational Awareness: strong customer focus and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

- Computer Proficiency:

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:15 am – 4:45 pm.
26‑50% travel required.
