* Job Summary:

** The Preschool Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for families, visitors, and staff. This role manages front desk operations, provides administrative support, and helps create a welcoming, safe, and organized environment for children and their families.
** Key Responsibilities
**** Front Desk & Communication
*** Greet parents, children, and visitors in a warm and professional manner
* Answer phone calls; direct them to appropriate staff
* Maintain daily attendance logs and sign-in/sign-out procedures
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages
** Administrative Support
*** Collect student records and enrollment forms
** Safety & Compliance
*** Monitor building access and ensure check-in/check-out procedures are followed
* Maintain emergency contact information and health records
* Ensure compliance with licensing and safety regulations
** Financial & Clerical Tasks
*** Collect occasional tuition payments and issue receipts
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous receptionist, administrative, or childcare experience required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic computer skills (e.g., email, office software)
* Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
