Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School, located in Pasco County FL, is seeking an experienced, full-time English teacher for the school year.
Qualifications:- Applicant must be committed to the ministry, philosophy, and goals of Catholic education.
- Have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field.
- Possess a valid Florida Department of Education Professional Certificate or Statement of Eligibility in English (grades 6-12).
- Demonstrate proficiency with instructional technology.
- A Master’s degree and teaching experience in all levels of high school English, including Advanced Placement, are preferred.
- Familiarity with standards-based assessment, classroom technology integration using Chromebooks, and the ability to facilitate the school Yearbook and teach other high school subjects would be advantageous.
This position will require successful completion of Level 2 background screening, safe environment certification, and mandated diocesan training.
