This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleFull-time schedule:
Monday 8 AM - 6 PM, Tuesday 10 AM - 7 PM, Wednesday 8 AM - 5 PM, Thursday 10 AM - 7 PM, Friday 8 AM - 4 PM.
The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline‑specific therapy services for those assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that promote effective return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves.
Responsibilities- Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans focused on progressing patients toward discharge.
- Document patient care and treatment results in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines.
- Participate in the student program, providing guidance and support.
- Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue ongoing education and professional activities.
- Adhere to discipline‑specific State Practice Acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
- Must have hand therapy experience and be comfortable making splints.
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
- CPR certification.
- Active State licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
