Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Monitor Technician to monitor and identify basic rhythms, dysrhythmias, and lethal arrhythmias, reporting findings to the appropriate personnel and labeling rhythm strips per policy. The role includes performing 12-lead EKGs and maintaining telemetry monitors between patient use.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Prior basic EKG training and competency are expected as part of the qualification set.
