Encounter reconciliation daily to ensure all services have been captured for all client visits. Accurately enter in HMS all of copays, unrecorded services and coding recorded on the Client Encounter form for all clients, followed by correct billing submission as evidence by daily billing reconciliation reports reviewed the unit manager or designee. Entries completed within 2 business days of service. Client flow is reviewed using Patient routing software.
Making sure billing of clients is consistent for all clients per Department and DOH-Hernando policies and procedures. Reconcile Cash Draw and HMS cash draw day sheet at the end of each day. Ensure all client billable services are entered by respective staff and billed accounting to Payor source and cashiering policy. Schedule client's next appointment upon exit as indicated by nursing staff or client request Ensure the influx from School Readiness Clinics workflow is smooth.
When requested/needed, all clients are served as quickly as possible . Enters drop-off immunization records into the FLShots and HMS systems, assuring that all demographic and financial information is correct. Checking to make sure that each minor child has a head of household and policy holder for all insurance except Medicaid. Refugee or foreign immunizations will be entered into FLShots and make sure all immunization records are scanned into HMS.
Issues 680's and religious exemptions once they are certified. Clinic maintenance cancelling and making clinic exceptions in HMS provider's template. Responsible for designee and "need to know" employee for security sets relating to active medical records and immunization card as it relates to performance of assigned duties and responsibilities for security and confidentiality of same. Assist and provide coverage with the Intake Check in process, Reception Desk processing all clients when requested by the needs of the Client Service Department.
