Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 5x8.0

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing tailored treatment plans to meet their needs and goals. This role involves directing therapy services and ensuring effective care delivery, promoting patient education, and maintaining a commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans focused on patient progress and discharge readiness.
• Document care clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with valid physician orders and insurance approvals.
• Participate in student training programs as assigned, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Create an individual professional development plan and pursue continuing education opportunities.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Outpatient orthopaedic experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license for Physical Therapy.
