Position Summary

Initiates directs and participates in community outreach programs by encouraging and supporting associates and managers in serving as good members of the community, establishing and maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups in the community, representing the company to various external organizations and championing company-sponsored programs, events and sustainability efforts to associates, customers and the local community.

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable, analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance standards, overseeing safety and operational reviews, developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies and providing direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates in the assigned area by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, setting clear expectations, communicating expectations consistently, promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace and providing feedback to ensure business goals are achieved.

Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints and issues are successfully resolved and developing action plans to correct deficiencies and providing process improvement leadership to ensure a high- quality customer experience.

Assists store manager in driving the financial performance of the facility by ensuring that sales and profit goals are achieved, reviewing and evaluating profit-loss statements, assisting the management team in controlling expenses, developing and implementing corrective plans and participating in budget forecasting, economic analysis and community needs assessment.

Coordinates, completes and oversees job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying goals and objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, addressing improvement opportunities and promoting continuous learning.

Ensures compliance with company policies, supports the mission, values, ethics and integrity, implements related action plans, utilizes and supports the Open Door Policy, and guides application of business processes and practices.

Builds high-performing teams, embraces differences, creates a culture of belonging, and fosters an environment where associates feel seen, supported and connected.

Upholds highest standards of integrity, ethics and compliance, serving customers and members, delivering results, adapting to customer preferences, applying EDLP and EDLC models, and driving continuous improvement and technology adoption.

Salary range $65,000.00 - $ with annual or quarterly performance bonuses and additional compensation may include Regional Pay Zone and Complex Structure bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
