Production Manager - Molding

Location: Spring Hill, FL, onsite M-F

Salary: $,000 DOE + yearly bonus, benefits, PTO, 401k match

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Production Manager, Molding to oversee injection molding operations. Lead the production floor, manage day‑to‑day molding activities and ensure safety and delivery targets are met. Ideal candidate has a strong background in plastics manufacturing/injection molding. Strong Kaizen experience is required.

• Oversee daily molding production operations, including planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Ensure production output meets quality standards, customer specs, and on‑time delivery goals.
• Lead and develop a team of molding technicians and shift supervisors.
• Optimize machine uptime, cycle times, and material usage to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality or downtime issues.
• Promote lean manufacturing principles like 5S, Kaizen and SMED (single minute exchange of die).
• Monitor KPIs: OEE, scrap rates, and labor efficiency.

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 3+ years in molding operations (injection molding a major plus).
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast‑paced production setting.
• Strong knowledge of molding processes, tooling, materials and equipment.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools.
