Maintenance Technician; Night Shift

We are looking for a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join our Spring Hill, FL plant. As a Maintenance Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will maintain equipment, perform mechanical repairs, and complete minor fabrication work.

• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the plant.
• Repair and rebuild stationary equipment such as crushers, chutes, screens, and conveyors.
• Complete tasks including screen changes, conveyor belt repair, crusher liner changes, and water pump service.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication work as needed.

• Conduct daily inspections of plant equipment and structures to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Monitor crushing, washing, and screening processes to identify issues and maintain material quality.

• Maintain service, inspection, and lubrication records to support preventative maintenance programs.

• Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning, shoveling, and material handling.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned to support overall plant performance.

• 1-3 years of related experience (aggregate or construction industry preferred).
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial tools.
• Good organizational, math, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work in environments with noise, dust, and physical demands.
