Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, you will deliver nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. Your responsibilities include planning and implementing care, documenting assessments, identifying situations that require further intervention, formulating goal‑directed plans of care, and ensuring patient rights. You will manage ongoing assessments, report findings, and coordinate discharge planning. You will also transcribe and direct the implementation of physician orders, conduct ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes, and involve patients and families in the evaluation process.

All of your documentation must be accurate, timely, and compliant with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.

• Education:
  
  Associate’s Degree in Nursing (minimum)
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  Florida RN license; BLS, ACLS, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a specialty unit and deemed competent.
