Admin - Spring Hill, FL 34606 | Position Type:
Full Time | Education Level: High School | Salary Range: $15.50 - $17.00 Hourly.
Responsible work involving the processing and approval of low-income households for support services funded through federal and state programs.
Responsibilities- Answer phone and warmly greet clients and visitors as they arrive at the agency.
- Accept applications, interview clients, assess service needs, determine client eligibility, and coordinate the most effective solution utilizing available programs and community resources.
- Prepare and maintain detailed files with household and service data as required.
- Adhere to the funding allocations provided by the Finance Department.
- Perform data entry on households served and service information as prescribed, generate reports, and assist with report preparation.
- Conduct outreach activities for the Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program / Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
- Gather statistical information for State, Federal, and Agency reports.
- Use and follow You Thrive Florida policies and procedures, including personnel, occupational health and safety, payroll, and other practices.
- Perform any additional duties as directed by supervisor or management staff.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum one year in social work or a customer service environment.
Licenses &
Certifications:
Valid Florida driver license; be insurable by the company's current insurance carrier. Must obtain Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) certification within one year of employment.
Skills & Expertise: Knowledge of community resources; accurate data entry; clear oral and written communication; basic math; ability to work with limited direction; organizational skills for maintaining accurate records/files.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift up to 65 lbs., and drive; good eyesight and hearing (correctable).
