Job Summary

Assist the General Manager in coordinating daily operations, overseeing cost controls, inventory, cash, customer relations, staff development, and store presentation. Manage staffing, paperwork, food, time, appearance, marketing, and service recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day operations, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
  • Assist in developing managers by setting an example and mentoring team members.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures; enforce the same with crew.
  • Encourage current team members and recruit new employees.
  • Staffing, paperwork, food management, time management, professional appearance, and promotion of brand standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and effective service recovery.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality and dependable transportation.
  • Ensure store cleanliness and marketing activities.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of all operational tasks and ability to train others.
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare products correctly at an advanced pace.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean store and equipment daily.
  • Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for accurate movements.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
