Logistics Coordinator III – Spring Hill, TN
We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator III in Spring Hill, TN for our Supply Chain Solutions division.
At a Glance- Pay Type:
Non‑Exempt / Paid Weekly - Hourly Pay: $25.00 based on experience
- Schedule:
2nd shift, Monday‑Friday 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. (occasional overtime as needed)
This position is responsible for maintaining and balancing the inbound/outbound process of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure daily production needs are met, coordinate with carriers and internal stakeholders, and support all warehouse operations.
Essential Functions- Create and maintain daily dock schedules; communicate with carriers regarding appointments and load status updates.
- Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
- Answer customer and contractor inquiries regarding shipment times, product routing, pickup issues, and damage claims.
- Work closely with inventory and on‑site personnel to resolve daily order issues.
- Provide front‑line support for command center activities at the account level and after‑hours support via cell phone and remote access as required.
- Process Small Package transactions in the Warehouse Management System.
- Perform administrative tasks for area or shift, maintain filing systems and documents per SOP.
- Assist in supporting key performance indicators (KPI) related to safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports; execute analysis and data preparation for load leveling.
- Provide support to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data processing, reporting, and customer inquiries.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EducationHigh School diploma or GED.
ExperienceOne (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
Skills- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Intermediate knowledge/experience in transportation environments such as shipping, receiving, inventory management, distribution, or dispatch.
- Intermediate knowledge of warehouse or software applications, routing, and dispatch systems.
- Intermediate understanding of DOT, OSHA, and related safety regulations.
