Your role will involve engaging in daily school psychologist responsibilities. Youll be a core member of the problem-solving process, Student Intervention Team, and Building Crisis Team. Additionally, your expertise will be pivotal in performing IEP evaluations and delivering related services. Youll help create supportive, proactive strategies that address student needs in both an elementary and middle school setting.
Key qualifications and experience:
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in K-8 settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education regulations, and interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide IEP-related services
- Participate in school-wide teams, including Student Intervention and Crisis Teams
- Support staff, families, and students in problem-solving initiatives
- Implement strategies that foster positive academic and behavioral outcomes
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with school policies
