Spring Hill Care and Rehab — Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Spring Hill Care and Rehab in Spring Hill, KS is hiring full‑time and part‑time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). The role offers a competitive salary of $20.00 to $23.50 per hour along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, short‑ and long‑term disability, a flexible spending account (FSA), a 401(k) plan, paid time off (PTO), life insurance, continuing education unit (CEU) reimbursement, and daily pay options.

Schedule
  • 12‑hour shifts: 7 am–7 pm and 7 pm–7 am.
  • Every other weekend includes 3‑day weekends.
  • Never work more than 3 days in a row.
  • 7 days off every 14 days.
  • Average 2 hours overtime per week.
Day in the Life of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

You provide total care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care. You follow each resident's plan of care and CNA assignment card, visit residents regularly, and reposition them as needed. With a careful eye for detail, you record vital signs—temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight—and conduct range‑of‑motion exercises as required.

You observe and report any changes in a resident’s condition, attitude, appetite, or behavior, and you maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies. Your warm and friendly demeanor helps you provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

Qualifications
  • Completed a state‑approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
  • Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
  • Desire to work with the elderly.
  • Experience in a geriatric nursing facility preferred but not required.
  • Trustworthy, respectful, dependable, professional, and a team player.
