Dental Assistant

Overview

Part Time Dental Assistant—Friday and Saturday only.

This role is part of a practice partnered with North American Dental Group, focusing on best‑in‑class patient care.

Must be willing to travel between the Spring Hill and Franklin office—Fridays and Saturdays only.

Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients receive the care they need. The assistant will help prepare patients for treatment, assist with restorative dentistry, and support hygienists.

• Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to doctors and hygienists, including charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
• Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
• Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on‑the‑job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
• Radiography/X‑Ray certification for the state.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
