Surgical Dental Assistant – Hands‑On Patient Care

• Prepare operatories for setup, decontamination, sterilization, cleaning, restocking, and maintaining lab and procedural areas.
• Provide positive customer service by escorting, communicating with, and prepping patients for care.
• Review patient histories and treatment plans with patients.
• Administer oxygen and IV sedation as needed, take blood pressure, take X‑rays, impressions, pours, and prepare study models.
• Coordinate lab cases and record treatment information on patient charts.
• Schedule appointments and provide follow‑up and post‑op direction and instructions to patients.

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Assisting program.
• Minimum two years of surgical assisting experience.
• Experience in prosthodontics, including bone grafting and implants.
• Skilled in utilizing standard surgical office equipment – autoclave, statim, model trimmer, panoramic/CBCT, oxygen, laser, intra‑oral camera, hand pieces, and others.
• CPR & First Aid certification.
• Pass a full panel drug screening (required for all new hires).
