Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Dental Care of Spring Hill

Location: 2030 Crossing Circle, Spring Hill, Tennessee 37174

Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday

Compensation: Bi‑weekly, hourly pay with optional daily and quarterly bonuses

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oral health services, including patient screenings, dental cleanings, and preventive care.
• Perform digital and conventional X‑rays, take patient photos, and document medical histories.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, diet, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records using the office’s electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Tennessee.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X‑rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to provide preventative care.
• Experience in a high‑volume clinical setting.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties, including prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Capacity to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
