Operations Engineer, Operations Manager
We are seeking a hands‑on Associate Plant Manager for a growing U.S.
-based manufacturing facility. This is a developmental leadership role designed for a strong technical or operations leader who wants to grow into a Plant Manager position within the next few years through structured mentorship and real ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience)
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, facility infrastructure, and maintenance operations
- Ability to lead projects, manage contractors, and collaborate cross-functionally
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience in a smaller or less complex plant with broad responsibilities
- Exposure to medium‑voltage power systems, PLCs, or control systems
- Prior leadership of technicians, supervisors, or small teams
- Interest in career progression into full plant leadership
- Lean, TPM, or continuous improvement experience
- Own the electrical power distribution and facility systems, including medium‑ and low‑voltage equipment, utilities, building systems, and infrastructure
- Develop and lead preventive and corrective maintenance strategies focused on safety, reliability, and uptime
- Support troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis on equipment, utilities, and facility‑related issues
- Oversee contractors and vendors for facility services, repairs, and capital improvements
- Ensure all systems meet OSHA, NFPA, and environmental regulations
- Partner closely with production and maintenance teams to support daily operations
- Lead or support lean, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, throughput, and cost control
- Participate in capital planning, equipment upgrades, and facility expansions
- Work directly with the Plant Manager and site leadership team as a key operations leader
- Take on increasing levels of responsibility across maintenance, engineering, facilities, and production support
- Build leadership capability to prepare for future Plant Manager succession
- Serve as a calm, hands‑on leader during operational upsets or emergencies
