Responsibilities

  • Provide scanning coverage and support team members in the field with PET/CT training and troubleshooting.
  • Perform clinical competencies and team member evaluations after internal milestones are met.
  • Produce high‑quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety (pre‑screening, aseptic injection techniques, radiation safety, documentation, etc.).
  • Operate PET/CT scanners, mobile coaches, and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils, etc.).
  • Collaborate with local ADDs, physician groups, radiology directors, and radiologists on software, customer portal, scanning protocols, and quality issues.
  • Assist the sales team with start‑ups and new business opportunities.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) state license, as required.
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • 3+ years of experience as a nuclear technologist in high‑pressure/high‑visibility environments with regular patient satisfaction surveys.
  • Experience managing business relationships with physicians and customers.
  • Strong communication skills at all organizational levels and adaptability to new environments.
  • Ability to work at multiple locations across the region.
  • Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programming.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with multiple OEMs and vendors such as GE, Siemens, Philips, etc.
Physical Requirements

The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit.

The employee will be exposed to a strong magnetic field and potential blood/body fluids, infectious disease, and environmental hazards (e.g., noise).

Travel may be required up to 90% of the time.

More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk; repetitive hand, arm and leg movements.

Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel, crawl; climb, balance; carry and lift non‑ambulatory patients.
