This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and will take on multiple projects throughout the internship period.
Projects PFEP Project:Plan for Every Part
- Improve efficiency and effectiveness in transporting inventory by clustering and analyzing part usage.
- Maintain part information in SAP and update files for uploading.
- Work with Suppliers and Material Planners to gather necessary information and prepare SAP upload files.
- Audit Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) part profiles to ensure best practice parameters are in place.
- Review parts and parameters with Material Planners, drive changes to meet templated standards.
- Create a report that identifies intended delivery times each week to improve supplier delivery visibility.
- Review inbound deliveries in SAP and produce a standard report for the communication board and receiving clerk.
- Run the daily POE shortage report and cross-reference it with engineering change requests (ECRs).
- Identify risks and plan to prevent inventory gaps with Material Planners.
