Site Supply Chain Apprentice

This role is reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and will take on multiple projects throughout the internship period.

• Introduce a new Transportation Management System (TMS) to improve efficiency and effectiveness in transporting inventory.
• Update and maintain information on each part supplied to OP Mobility in SAP.
• Gather necessary information and prepare files for uploading into SAP in collaboration with Suppliers and Material Planners.

• Audit Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) part profiles to ensure every part has best practice parameters in place and maintain consistency and standardization in SAP.
• Review parts and parameters in SAP with Material Planners and drive changes to meet the templated standards.

• Create a report that identifies when deliveries are intended to arrive each week to improve visibility to the supplier delivery schedule.
• Review inbound deliveries in SAP with Material Planners and create a standard report for the communication board and receiving clerk.

• Run the daily POE Shortage Report and cross-reference it with ECRs to improve visibility to potential POE shortages.
• Identify risks before they occur and plan to prevent gaps in inventory, working with Material Planners.
