Compensation & Schedule- Pay Type:
Non-Exempt / Paid Weekly - Hourly Pay: $25.00 based on experience.

Monday-Friday 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. with occasional overtime depending on business needs.

This position is responsible for maintaining and balancing the inbound/outbound process of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure daily production needs are met, provide timely communications to other departments and leadership personnel, and support all other warehouse operation functions and personnel as assigned. The Logistics Coordinator provides support as it pertains to the warehouse, transportation, inventory, or general offices. The Logistics Coordinator may be required to support the client after hours, such as nights, weekends and/or holidays via cell phone rotation and remote equipment.
Active communications (electronic/personal) with internal and external customers on operational issues to ensure all items are addressed in a timely manner.
- Create/maintain daily dock schedules. Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses.
- Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates.
- Interact with customer and contractors – answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up by carrier, and damage claims.
- Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve problems with the day's orders.
- Provide tactical front line support for all command center activities at the account level and after hours support via cell phone and remote access as required.
- Process Small Package in Warehouse Management System.
- Perform admin tasks for area or shift. Maintain filing systems and documents per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
- Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
- Execute analysis and data preparation in support of Load leveling.
- Provide all support function activity including accuracy and timeliness of data processing, reporting, analysis, and all other customer specific inquiries.

EDUCATIONH.S. diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCEOne (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
SKILLS- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates customer service skills.
- Microsoft Office – intermediate level.
- Knowledge/experience in transportation environment (shipping, receiving, inventory management, distribution or dispatch) – intermediate level.
- Knowledge of warehouse and/or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems – intermediate level.
- Understanding of DOT, OSHA, and all related safety regulations – intermediate level.
