Assigned Program Specialist / Maintenance Group Leader - Bartech Staffing

Hourly pay range: $42-$44/hour

Location: Onsite (manufacturing facility)

Shifts: Rotating between 1st Shift (5:30AM-3:30PM) and 2nd Shift (3:30PM-12:30AM)

Assignment Duration: 52 weeks

Overtime: Approx. 20 hrs/week; varies; possible weekends

Travel: None

Start Date: ASAP

Physical Requirement: FFW

• Directly supervise electrical and mechanical skilled trades within the General Assembly Department.
• Lead skilled hourly workers to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and processes.
• Apply and enforce National and Local UAW Agreements.
• Respond to the daily manufacturing plan and adjust operations as needed.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Hold team members accountable and engage in performance-based discussions when necessary.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and communicate findings.
• Identify and implement solutions to operational or technical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain productivity and quality according to organizational standards.
• Implement corporate policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Collaborate frequently with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee efficient use of labor, machinery, and inventory.
• Establish and execute plans to complete jobs and projects.
• Support and maintain advanced automation, conveyance, and robotic equipment.
• Supervise approximately 16 skilled trades employees in a high‑automation environment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in high-volume, hands-on production environments.
• Experience with automation and conveyance systems.
• Prior experience supervising or leading skilled trades or technicians.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to thrive in fast-paced operations.
• Experience managing conflict and making informed decisions.
• Background addressing performance concerns.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, email, typing).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and mandatory overtime.
• Mechanically inclined.
