Position Description

Ryder is hiring Material Handlers in Spring Hill, Tennessee. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay $20.33 per hour
• Overtime Pay $30.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift
• Schedule:
  
  2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

Warehouse forklift operator / driver positions in a clean, organized, and well‑run facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading trucks
• Managing day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour of production
• Performing other duties as assigned and meeting performance measurement guidelines of the contract

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Team player in a diverse work environment
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Punctual with good attendance record
• High degree of initiative
• Accurate, even under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
