We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support new product launches, improve production processes, and drive operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position works closely with production, maintenance, quality, and suppliers to ensure efficient manufacturing operations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop manufacturing processes for new products and production programs.
  • Create process flows, work instructions, labor estimates, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Design production floor layouts to maximize efficiency and support Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Coordinate engineering activities during new product launches.
  • Support production by troubleshooting manufacturing and process-related issues.
  • Lead root cause investigations using 8D and other structured problem‑solving methods.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Prepare and manage Engineering Change documentation.
  • Utilize AIAG Core Tools throughout product launches and production support.
  • Assist with equipment installation, facility improvements, and manufacturing line modifications.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and equipment improvements.
  • Validate manufacturing equipment with outside suppliers.
  • Travel to customer facilities and supplier locations when required.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or process engineering.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools.
  • Experience with robotics or automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
Preferred
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Maintenance planning or supervisory experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
