In this role, you will support critical maintenance operations, champion safety initiatives, and help ensure equipment reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing goals.

What's

the Job?
  • Implement and actively support safety policies, initiatives, and plant housekeeping standards.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support achievement of Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost (SPQRC) objectives.
  • Supervise construction and maintenance projects within the facility.
  • Assist in the implementation of divisional and corporate policies.
  • Maintain production schedules and quality requirements.
  • Train, develop, coach, and evaluate maintenance employees.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national labor agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Execute and oversee planned maintenance activities.
  • Manage work assignments within budget, manpower, and timing constraints.
  • Monitor maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support equipment reliability and operational efficiency across manufacturing operations.
What's Needed?
  • 8-10 years of maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial experience.
  • Experience supervising a multi-trade workforce in a manufacturing environment.
  • Associate degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • Skilled trades training or equivalent technical training.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and concepts.
  • Experience supporting machine, assembly, and/or facility operations.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Strong understanding of tooling, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of safe industrial work practices and workplace safety requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with email communication tools such as Lotus Notes or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to work any assigned shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics including trigonometry.
