ABOUTTHE ROLE
We are currently looking for a Ceramic Technician to join our team. The Ceramic Technician will work predominantly from our clients' production facilities in the Middle Tennessee region to assist with the development and creation of graphics for Ceramic applications. Prospective candidates must be comfortable getting their hands dirty in a 90-100% on-site production/factory setting. The Ceramic Technician will initially report to our offices in Nashville (for training, and then from time to time moving forward), BUT will spend most of their time at our clients' facilities in and around Middle TN(Cookeville, Lebanon, etc.)
and will occasionally need to travel to Texas.
This is not a traditional technical position.

WHAT YOU WILL DOAssisting our Ceramic Division customers during the industrialization phase of their production processes.
Developing new solutions regarding ceramic glazes, effects, and designs using Torrecid's semi-finished products.
Providing excellent technical service, thereby improving Torrecid's market reputation and earning trust as a long-term partner for our customers.
Associates or Technical School (engineering or similar fields).
Comfortable working and interacting in a team environment as well as autonomously.
Ability to think critically and proactively when solving problems and to identify preventive actions.
Comfortable both in taking direction and working independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting where priorities can shift and quick response times are paramount.
Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
Available to travel inside and outside of the United States.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
