Registered Nurse - Pediatric Inpatient - Part Time Nights

Job Summary

Provides comprehensive care to children admitted to the hospital on our dedicated pediatric unit for various medical conditions. Ensures patients receive the highest quality of care during their hospital stay.

• Provide family-centered care.
• Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to determine medical needs and monitor progress.
• Work closely with board‑certified pediatric hospitalists and child life specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients and families, offering emotional support and reassurance.
• Maintain hospital and unit‑specific competencies.
• Advocate for the needs and best interests of pediatric patients, ensuring they receive appropriate and compassionate care.

At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
• Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) within 6 months of hire.
