Seasonal Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (260002IB) Responsibilities
- Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing patient‑care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self‑care skills.
- Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Minimum of two years of related nursing experience and deemed competent.
- Current Florida State nursing license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Ability to work on any unit within the assigned division.
- Work three shifts per week.
- Work every other weekend.
- Float to other units at Brooksville and Spring Hill campuses as needed.
