Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities And Duties:
- Prepare PPAP/PSW packages for Customer, and reviews Supplier PPAP/PPSR information
- Maintains the Customer QPN database for PSW promise dates, and PPAP submissions
- Manages engineering changes through the quality department, participates in internal & external engineering change control meetings
- Coordinates APQP for New Programs and Product changes
- Review and analyze warranty data for the Division.
- Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
- Establish statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.
- Establishes statistical reliability by using mean time before failure, weibull 3-parameter distribution, reliability modeling, and reliability demonstration tests.
- Lead cross functional teams to develop Corrective and Preventive Action for Customer, Supplier and Production
- Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.
- Assist / be a leader in IAFT 16949 Element champion as required
- Potential responsibility to for IATF 16949 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor as required.
- Ensuring that processes needed for quality management system are established, implemented and maintained.
- Reporting to top management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement.
- Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
- Development of Control Plan and PFMEA, participate in RPN reduction meetings
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
- Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests.
- Completes QR's for supplier rejections, tracks open issues, 4D & 8D responses, and supplier score cards
- Review of customer specific requirements to ensure compliance within the internal system
Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities:
- Ensure all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations are followed.
- Ensure adherence to established quality and housekeeping standards.
- Respond immediately to items brought to his/her attention with respect to hazards, defects or non-compliance issues.
- Taking appropriate corrective action when substandard performance is observed.
Review and adhere to Spring Hill Seating Systems' health and safety, environmental, and quality standards, operating procedures, policies and forms
Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited university/college in engineering, technical or business or ASQ Certification (CQE / CQM / CQA)
- Three to five years Quality relative experience in an automotive assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with the use of Minitab
- Experience in quality inspection with strong skills in Quality (Core Tools) and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience in PPAP/PSW submissions to automotive customers
- Experience with Reading and Understanding Drawing / GDT
- Experience with computers and good math skills
- Capability to Multi task
Minimum Qualifications:
- One (1) to Two (2) years of Quality relative experience in an automotive assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in inspection with strong skills in Quality (Core Tools) and Root Cause Analysis.
- Working knowledge of word, Excel, Experience with computers and good math skills
- Capability to Multi task
