As a Municipal Account Manager, you’ll be a trusted partner to municipal and utility customers, building long‑term relationships and collaborating to solve their toughest challenges. This is not a role about making 100 cold calls a day, it’s about strategic engagement, teamwork, and driving innovation in the water industry.

Partner with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that improve water management and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with industry innovators and leverage team expertise to present new technologies and products to current and prospective clients.

Serve as a resource and advisor, ensuring customers stay informed on the latest advancements in AMI, smart metering, and water quality solutions.

Participate in trade shows and industry events to showcase Badger Meter’s leadership and strengthen relationships.

Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to help shape product development and enhance customer experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in account management, preferably with utilities or government agencies.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to travel up to 75% within your territory.
