Position Summary

Full‑time permanent Forklift Operator / Material Handler at Ryder, Spring Hill, Tennessee.

Hourly Pay: $20.33 per hour;
Overtime Pay: $30.50 per hour;
Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift.

Schedule:

2nd Shift Monday – Friday 4:00 pm – 12:30 am.

Responsibilities
  • Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Carry out duties according to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
  • Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
  • Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift hour of production.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
  • Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and dependable with good attendance.
  • Ability to perform work with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and maintain high level of precision under pressure.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Use health and safety methods.
  • Available to work flexibly across various shifts.
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
