Part-Time Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined
Part-Time Equipment Technician to support our restaurant locations in the Nashville area. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and performing light preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen and HVAC-related equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in appliance repair, restaurant equipment service, HVAC, or general mechanical maintenance who wants flexible part‑time work.

• Diagnose and repair
  Merrychef ovens
• Repair and maintain commercial toasters and small kitchen appliances
• Perform light preventative maintenance on:
• Air conditioning units
• Walk‑in coolers
• Refrigeration equipment
• Replace minor parts (switches, fans, heating elements, belts, etc.)
• Identify issues before major breakdowns occur
• Coordinate with management when outside vendors are required
• Maintain basic service records for repairs and maintenance performed

• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration helpful
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working in restaurant environments

• Self-starter who doesn’t need constant supervision
