Forklift Operating Material Handler – Spring Hill, Tennessee
Ryder is hiring Forklift Operating Material Handlers in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a future in a reputable supply chain company.
Compensation- Hourly Pay: $20.33 per hour
- Overtime Pay: $30.50 per hour
- Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift
- Schedule:
2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

- Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Execute duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and truck loading/unloading
- Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Team‑player mindset and capability to work within a diverse work environment
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Punctual with a strong attendance record
- Independent work with minimal supervision
- High degree of initiative
- Accuracy under pressure
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Adherence to health and safety methods
- Flexible schedule availability across various work shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
