Winfield is a small suburban school district in DuPage County. It serves 330 students in two schools. The Tiger Cub preschool has 2 sessions, morning and afternoon, supporting general education, special education, and at risk students in a tri-blend setting.

Position Title:
Long-Term Substitute Preschool Teacher, (anticipated late Aprilto the end of the school year).

Reports To:
Coordinator of Student Services

• Valid Professional Educator License in Early Childhood Education with an LBS1 Endorsement (Preferred) or an LBS1 PEL with an Early Childhood Education Endorsement (Preferred)
• ELL Endorsement (Preferred)
• Ability to Communicate Effectively with Students and Parents
• Demonstrated Ability to Utilize a Variety of Data Sources and Problem Solving Structures in Order to Ensure the Academic and Social-Emotional Success of all Students
• Expertise in Providing Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum and Differentiated Instruction to Meet the Academic and Social-Emotional Needs of all Students
• Expertise in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports
