Full‑time Physical Therapist (PT)

Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a Full‑time Physical Therapist to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident’s pain using exercises, hands‑on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect the facility by keeping information confidential
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Current New York State PT License
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting preferred; new graduates with relevant fieldwork experience encouraged
• Actively working toward obtaining or has obtained a New York PT license
