A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).
PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:Location:
Reno NV 89502 – 100% on-site. Payrate: $67.75+/hr – based on shift.
Required Availability:
Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM. Every other weekend:
Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions for safety, and providing patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and drug interactions. The role also supports overall pharmacy operations by maintaining patient records, supervising pharmacy staff, managing inventory, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations.
PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Review medication orders for safety, accuracy, and appropriateness.
- Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, side effects, storage, and drug interactions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Identify medication-related concerns and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to resolve them.
- Compound medications and prepare sterile products as needed.
- Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices, including blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy support staff.
- Maintain pharmaceutical inventory and ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required. - Attendance:
Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. - Active Nevada Pharmacist license required.
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
