Position Overview
Thrive Behavioral Hospital is seeking a detail‑oriented Infection Prevention Nurse to join our team on a part‑time basis. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about patient safety and driving best practices in infection control.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee infection prevention protocols and ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct surveillance, reporting, and staff education related to infection control
- Collaborate with department leaders to maintain a safe, sanitary environment
- Lead outbreak response and root cause investigations as needed
- Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections
- Active RN or LPN license in Nevada
- Infection Prevention or related clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of CDC, OSHA, and state‑specific guidelines
- Detail‑oriented with excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with teams
