Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year

Mid‑sized Manufacturing company seeks to add a Plant Cost Accountant to their growing team! The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years of Cost Accounting experience within the Manufacturing Industry. • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 8+ years of Accounting experience in the Manufacturing industry.
• 5+ years of Cost Accounting experience within Manufacturing
• Previous experience personally owning standard cost rollups in ERP, WIP, inventory, and variance analysis (not just supported or reviewed) for standard cost updates tied to production.
• This company has been around for over 10 years and their Houston location is relatively new. They are needing someone who knows cost accounting, that can come in and add value!
• Experience with maintaining BOMs and Routings (with calculations at the part-level), cycle counts, cost variance analysis, labor standards, overhead, working closely with engineering/operations and being out on the floor understanding process flow, and what is driving variances, cost structures and how they change if something changes on the floor.
