Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support and strengthen their accounting function. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys broad responsibility, takes ownership of the close process, and thrives in a collaborative, problem-solving environment.
Key Responsibilities- Own and execute core accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, accruals, and general ledger activity
- Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries
- Perform and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, researching and resolving variances
- Play a key role in the month-end close, including timelines, accuracy, and reporting support
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
- Ensure accounting activities comply with internal controls and accounting standards
- Support process improvements, documentation, and special projects
- Serve as a resource to junior accounting staff as needed
