Staff Accountant
Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for a well-rounded accountant who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and getting involved across multiple areas of accounting. The position offers hands-on exposure to core accounting functions and close collaboration with the broader finance team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day accounting activities including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare and post journal entries, including monthly accruals
- Complete account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support the month-end close process
- Assist with fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support ad hoc accounting projects and process improvements as needed
