Job Description
As an Automotive & Transmission Technician, you will be working in a total car care repair center, with jobs ranging from standard maintenance to transmission, electrical diagnostics and everything in between. This position will be responsible for explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to service staff and team members.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems- engines, transmissions, drivetrain, brake, hydraulic, exhaust, steering, suspension, alignment, fuel ignition, electrical, air conditioning and computer systems
- Ability to accurately diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, solenoids and electrical issues
- Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
- Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians
- Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques
- Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated
- Competitive Salary or Flag Time compensation packages ranging from $80K to $100K+ based upon experience, skills, professionalism, work ethic & positive attitude

- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment such as scanners, electrical diagnostic equipment, AC recovery equipment, fluid exchange equipment, lift operation, alignment equipment, etc.
