All you need is one year of experience in a dealership warehouse to change your career path for the better. We need a reliable, professional parts associate to assist with inventory control, storage and issuing parts within our high‑volume dealership. This is a great opportunity to start off in our parts department and build a career with a thriving automotive group that cares about its employees.
You’ll need to be good at ordering parts and maintaining inventory, but you’ll also need excellent people skills when dealing with customers and internal staff. The right person can expect great pay, great benefits and a great dealership family environment.
- Assist parts manager in maintaining inventory on a daily basis
- Ensure that unused “outside purchase parts” are returned to vendors
- Assist in preparing for annual parts inventory
- Pull all parts from pick tickets and deliver to technicians
- Pull all parts invoices and stage for shuttle driver
- Conduct bin counts weekly
- Put up stock daily
- Keep parts warehouse secure at all times
- Keep parts area clean
- Basic computer skills and experience with office machines (copier, credit card machine, telephone)
- Automotive experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to learn in a fast‑paced environment
- Self‑disciplined
- Motivated to go above and beyond the minimum standard
- Lift up to 70 pounds
- Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach and handle parts and equipment
- Able to work in a dusty environment with chemical compounds and paint
- Valid state of residence driver’s license
- Required to pass a drug test and background check
