LGA Garage Door Service is seeking an Inside Sales & Service Manager to drive revenue, elevate customer experience, and optimize operations. If you’re a dynamic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at pipeline development, and turns data into action, this is your role. You’ll own the end-to-end customer journey—from initial inquiry to project completion—ensuring every interaction accelerates sales, boosts loyalty, and delivers measurable results.

As the cornerstone of daily operations, you’ll seamlessly connect office staff, field technicians, and customers with confidence, clarity, and a relentless commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and optimize daily coordination of residential and commercial overhead door service operations to accelerate job cycles, reduce callbacks, and grow service revenue.
  • Verify dispatch integrity and maximize technician productivity and readiness, shortening response times and increasing first-time fix rates for door installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Leverage advanced Excel to build, analyze, and present performance and scheduling dashboards, providing actionable insights to win more residential and commercial contracts.
  • Generate precise estimates and ensure flawless invoicing through Service Fusion, improving collections, cash flow, and closing margins on door projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive job tracking with technician notes, photos, materials, POs, and commissioning records to support fast closes, warranty claims, and audits.
  • Deliver actionable daily, weekly, and monthly reports to upper management, highlighting wins, risks, and opportunities to drive sales targets in the overhead doors market.
  • Engage directly with customers to resolve issues, align service needs with project scope, and upsell complementary solutions (e.g., smart openers, safety enhancements, weather seals).
  • Monitor technician and subcontractor performance, enforce accountability, and implement continuous improvement to protect margins on door installations and service work.
  • Train, mentor, and scale a high-performance support team, cultivating accountability, initiative, and customer-centric service for residential and commercial clients.
  • Oversee onboarding, attendance, and disciplinary actions to maintain a reliable, revenue-ready field force skilled in door systems, rails, springs, rollers, and operators.
  • Standardize operations and enforce adherence to company procedures to ensure consistent quality, safety, and repeatable sales results across service, installation, and warranty work.
  • Coordinate vendor POs, equipment rentals, and drop shipments for door parts, springs, hardware, and gate components to optimize timelines and cost efficiency.
  • Continuously expand product and service knowledge of overhead door systems, accessories, and related safety standards to elevate team capability, cross-sell opportunities, and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience with strong team-management skills
  • Expertise in sales for the home services industry, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data organization
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Experience with scheduling, dispatching, and CRM systems (Service Fusion preferred)
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a results-oriented approach
