Our client, a leading organization in global trade and compliance, is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Trade Compliance Department supporting cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job- Accurately assign and maintain global tariff codes (HS/HTS/HTSUS) and export control codes (Schedule B, ECCN) across the company's product catalog.
- Ensure compliant classification for all import/export declarations, minimizing duty risks and clearance delays.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, procurement, and logistics teams to gather product information such as composition, performance, and specifications.
- Support trade operations by working with customs brokers on import/export filings, valuation, and country of origin determination.
- Conduct internal audits, resolve discrepancies, and support external or government audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on customs classification experience in import/export environments.
- Strong knowledge of HS/HTSUS, WCO General Rules of Interpretation, Schedule B, and ECCN (EAR).
- Experience working with customs brokers and trade compliance systems.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills for audit readiness.
