About the Role

Designed as an onsite position, the successful candidate will primarily work from an HPE office. The role is part of the Human Resources & Talent Development category, focusing on training development and enablement within data protection.

Job Family Definition

Based on identified training needs in the company's business segments and global functions, the L&D Developer designs, develops, and evaluates sales, technical, or leadership/management training materials. Responsibilities include creating traditional and media-based deliverables, collaborating with project teams, assessing content, and delivering pilot training to refine programs.

Management Level Definition

Exhibits advanced subject‑matter expertise to solve complex business issues and contribute new ideas. Manages cross‑functional projects, provides process improvement guidance, represents the organization internally and externally, and mentors junior staff.

Responsibilities
  • Contributes to and may lead the portfolio management process, including needs assessment, solution selection, design, development, implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement of learning solutions.
  • Aligns development priorities with corporate and business needs.
  • Manages and monitors monthly and quarterly forecasts against assigned budgets.
  • Performs cost‑benefit and business impact analyses of alternative learning solutions.
  • Designs, plans, and ensures overall integrity and quality of global and regional curriculum roadmaps.
  • Provides leadership to multiple project teams as appropriate.
  • Achieves financial goals, operational goals, and assigned metrics.
Education and Experience Required
  • First‑level university degree; advanced university degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 5-8 years in a training development or equivalent role.
  • Typically 4-6 years experience managing large projects.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Advanced facilitation, content design, and consulting skills.
  • Advanced business and financial planning acumen.
  • Advanced project management and process development skills.
  • Advanced expertise working with cross‑functional and global teams.
  • Advanced leadership, communication, change management, and relationship management skills.
  • Expert ability to quickly understand and adopt new, complex tools, technologies, and systems.
  • Content management – enablement program creation, meeting content, and customized content.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration across sales, marketing, sales ops, GTM, and other functions.
  • Process improvement identification and execution.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC, Challenger, and OBS.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across various departments and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Training and coaching competencies.
  • Expertise in critical tools like SFDC, Power BI, Seismic.
  • Meeting facilitation skills.
  • AI enablement, onboarding, and training expertise.
