The Procurement Contracts Manager is responsible for creating key contract development deliverables for moderately complex agreements, including contracting plans, go‑to‑market approaches, draft agreements for negotiation, deal sheets, risk assessments, and award documentation to support decision‑making. They ensure agreement compliance and utilization to achieve purchase‑to‑pay excellence. The Procurement Contracts Manager manages supplier relationships at the agreement level, resolving execution issues, and provides market intelligence and feasibility feedback to support category strategy development.
Work requires intermediate subject matter knowledge and judgement to complete nonstandard issues; more complex issues are typically escalated to more experienced roles.
- Create contract development deliverables for moderately complex agreements.
- Develop contracting plans and market approaches (e.g., bid, single source).
- Draft contracts and negotiate terms.
- Prepare bid sheets, risk assessments, and award documents for decision‑making.
- Ensure agreement controls, compliance, and utilization to achieve purchase‑to‑pay excellence.
- Manage supplier relationships at the agreement level, addressing execution issues.
- Provide category strategy support through market intelligence and feasibility feedback.
- Travel up to 10%.
Qualifications and experience required for this role include:
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Professional experience in award/risk assessment and controls/compliance.
- Professional skills navigating systems such as Ariba and Docu Sign.
